Terms of use.

Effective 7 July 2026. These terms cover the FuelNow iOS app and fuelnow.com.au ("FuelNow"), operated by Sean Bunton.

What FuelNow is

An independent information service showing retail fuel prices reported by fuel retailers into official Australian government price schemes. FuelNow is free and provided as-is.

Prices

Prices are retailer-reported and their freshness varies by state – the details are on the data sources page. Prices can be wrong, stale or missing; if the price board at the station differs from the app, the board is correct. FuelNow is a guide for choosing where to buy fuel, not a guarantee of price.

Your use

Use FuelNow for personal, non-commercial fuel-price lookup. Don't scrape, resell or misrepresent the service, and never operate a phone while driving.

Intellectual property

The FuelNow name, logo and design are Sean Bunton's. Government scheme data is published under the respective schemes' licences and attributed on the data sources page. Third-party names (state schemes, fuel brands, navigation apps) belong to their owners and appear factually; no affiliation or endorsement is implied in either direction.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law (including the Australian Consumer Law – nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded), FuelNow is provided without warranties and liability is limited to resupplying the service. FuelNow is not liable for purchase decisions made on displayed prices.

Changes

Terms may be updated; continued use after an update is acceptance. Governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
