The whole policy in three sentences

FuelNow has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no trackers. The app sends only the map area you're viewing (and your chosen fuel type) to our price server so it can return station prices – never your identity. If you turn on price alerts, we also store the notification address Apple assigns your device, with the city and fuel type you picked – and that is the complete list of what we hold.

What the app sends and why

When you move the map or search a suburb, the app requests prices for that visible area from our price server, hosted in Australia. If you grant location permission, the map centres on you – the permission is optional and everything works via search without it. Your location is used on your device to position the map; it is not stored by us and not linked to any identity. Requests aren't linked to any account or advertising identifier; standard, short-lived infrastructure logs (such as IP addresses) exist at our hosting provider for security and reliability, and are not used to identify you.

Price alerts (optional)

Price alerts are off until you turn them on. When you do, we store the random notification address Apple assigns your device (a "push token") along with the city and fuel type you chose – that's how the right alert reaches the right phone, and it's everything the alert system keeps. We never see or store your location. Turn notifications off and the alerts stop; addresses that stop working are deleted.

What the app never does

No advertising SDKs. No analytics SDKs. No third-party trackers. No selling or sharing of data. No profiles. The App Store privacy label reflects the same: nothing linked to you, nothing used for tracking.

Apple services

Maps, imagery and directions hand-offs are provided by Apple (or by Google Maps or Waze if you choose them for directions) under their own privacy policies.

fuelnow.com.au sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
